Future Salary Increases
** June 26, 2026 - 5.27% increase to base pay (3.50% Across-the-Board + 1.77% Market Increase)
** June 25, 2027 - 4.77% increase to base pay (3.00% Across-the-Board + 1.77% Market Increase)
The following additional pay incentives and premiums are available:
** $.25/hour Work Location Premium (Assigned to work at a medical or detention facility as primary work location)
** $300 Uniform Allowance (Reimbursed for Hard Toe Shoes)
Senior Storekeepers are assigned to different departments across the County of San Diego. This role represents the initial supervisory level within the Storekeeper and Stock Clerk series. Working under general supervision from a manager or supervisor, these individuals take full responsibility for planning, organizing, directing, training, reviewing, and assessing the work of Storekeepers. Stock Clerks, or other support personnel in warehouses or multiple large storage areas within County detention facilities or departmental divisions.
The current vacancies are in the Sheriff's Office. The list established from this recruitment may be used for vacancies in various County of San Diego departments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Three (3) years of store keeping or warehouse experience consisting of ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing supplies, materials, and equipment; OR,
- One (1) year experience as a Storekeeper with the County of San Diego.
Note: Experience in providing first line or full supervision over employees responsible for performing storekeeping work is highly desirable.

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
