The Fremont Police Department is recruiting for the position of Police Communications Dispatcher.
Recruitment Process

- Applicants must attach a valid typing certificate. A valid typing certificate must include all of the following requirements:
- Ability to type no less than 45 net words per minute
- Must be dated within the last 12 months
- All tests must be administered by a professional; the proctor/agency contact information must be listed on your certificate
- If you choose to do an online typing test, your certificate must indicate that your ID was verified, and a proctor must have virtually monitored the exam. In addition, all of the above requirements must be met.

- Step 3: CritiCall Exam
- Step waived for candidates who have passing POST Entry-level Dispatcher Selection Test Battery Exam (POST Dispatcher Exam) or CritiCall scores attached to their application.
- POST Entry-Level Dispatcher Selection Test Battery (POST Dispatcher Exam) with a minimum T-Score of 51 dated within the last 12 months.
- OR CritiCall exam scores dated within the last 12 months.

- Step 9: Conditional Offer (Final job offer is dependent on the Medical and Psychological evaluations)
