Sustainability Coordinator - Business Services Officer II (Specialist)

This position may be extended up to 24 months. 
 

This position is eligible to work a hybrid telework schedule. The physical reporting location for this position is close to historic Folsom, eateries, shopping, walking trails, and offers free parking! This position is not located inside of a prison.

Under the direction of the Chief of Business Services, the Business Services Officer II (Specialist) will lead the Sustainability Team, lead the Health & Safety efforts at Central Office, and lead all Modular System furniture reconfigures, project planning, and engage Construction, and Maintenance & Repair in a Sustainable way.

  1. Minimum Qualifications - 

Two years of technical experience beyond the Trainee level in one or a combination of the following: Negotiation of commercial, industrial, or office leases for buildings. or

Management of industrial or office buildings with responsibility for maintenance, repairs, equipment and service. or

Preparation of working plans and technical specifications, and solicitation and awarding of bids for alterations to, construction or purchase of commercial, industrial, or office buildings or major equipment. or

Business service contract management and oversight.

 

Education: Equivalent to graduation from college. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.)

  • Experience researching and analyzing data and supplying information in a report
  • Experience with vendor contracts.
  • Experience in communicating with all levels of staff
