Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor), the candidate independently performs the most difficult analytical and professional level accounting activities within the PO & Recon. Unit. Duties include but are not limited to the following: serve as a lead in processing encumbrances; auditing, and approving of contracts and contract payment logs; researching and correcting encumbrance and expenditure errors. - Microsoft office (Including Excel with pivot tables, Word, PowerPoint).
- Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) Experience.
- Encumbrance & expenditure correction experience.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Capable of handling tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines.
- Exercise good judgment: Prioritize transparency, accuracy and honesty. Making decisions based on accurate data within the required deadline.
