Job Description and Duties

Are you looking for an exciting position working with a team of creative Human Resources (HR) professionals? Start a career within the Department of Water Resources’ Classification & Placement section! As a team member, you will be responsible for a variety of personnel activities and will perform complex analytical duties that are both assignment and project based. You will also promote customer satisfaction through quality customer service and will initiate or recommend changes using innovative solutions to meet customer needs. Work cooperatively with staff from the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR), State Personnel Board, other state agencies, and Departmental managers, supervisors, & Administrative Officers.
