Medical Assistant

Arya Derm is a rapidly growing dermatology practice seeking a full-time medical assistant to join our team. Situated in a newly built office located steps from Union Square, our practice spans the full spectrum of medical and cosmetic skin care. We're in search of a bright, highly motivated medical assistant available to start ASAP. This a full-time position. Responsibilities

• Provide our patients with excellent service, addressing their needs and doing your part to ensure a great patient experience
• Escort patients to the exam room and prepare in advance for medical and cosmetic procedures
• Ensure that exam rooms remain clean and organized at all times. You'll also be responsible for stocking rooms with necessary supplies as needed and cleaning medical instruments
• Become a power user of our EMR system, entering patient info and scribing during appointments. Ideally, you have amazing typing skills
• Earn our patients' trust, advising them on skincare products, ingredients and proper use. You'll also counsel them on dermatologic procedures, diagnoses, outcomes and cosmetic procedures

Qualifications

• Strong aptitude for dermatology. Although we'd prefer candidates with at least 2 years experience in dermatology or a similar field, we're open to candidates who are willing to learn
• Certified Medical Assistant and CPR certification
• Strong computer skills, comfort with EMR
• Superb organizational skills with a knack for multitasking and prioritizing
