Fundraising Grant Intern

Seeking motivated student volunteers who want to gain real-world experience in nonprofit fundraising and grant writing.  This position provides hands-on exposure to how nonprofit organizations secure funding through donor outreach, grant proposals and fundraising campaigns.  Key responsibilities include researching potential grant opportunities; assisting in drafting and editing grant proposals and supporting documents; helping to develop donor outreach materials and fundraising communications; supporting fundraising campaigns and events; conducting background research to support grant applications and funding strategies.  Preferred qualifications are strong writing and research skills; attention to detail and organization; interest in nonprofit work, public service or fundraising; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
