We proudly serve families/clients throughout Fremont, Union City, Newark, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Hayward & Milpitas areas.

Key Responsibilities (varies based on clients):

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
  • Personal hygiene and grooming
  • Bathing and dressing
  • Toileting and incontinence care
  • Mobility and transfers
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishes, and tidying living spaces
• Remind clients to take medications as directed
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or recreational activities
• Monitor client condition and report changes or concerns to Right at Home team and family members
• Maintain accurate care documentation and communication records
• Ensure a safe and supportive home environment

Preferred qualities:

• Genuine passion for working with seniors and individuals in need of support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build trust and maintain client dignity and respect
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if needed
• Prior caregiving or healthcare experience preferred but not required

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass background check and employment screening
• Live Scan and HomeCare Aid registration (required)

Work Environment

Caregivers provide services in clients’ homes throughout the South Alameda/Tri-City area. This role may involve standing, bending, lifting, and assisting clients with mobility. Schedules may include part-time, full-time, daytime, evening, overnight, or weekend shifts.
