Purchasing Unit B Supervisor

This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by supporting the Center for Laboratory Sciences (CLS), by performing core administrative and financial tasks to ensure the Center maintains operational stability, strict compliance and mission alignment.

The Supervisor I, acting as the Purchasing Unit B Supervisor, plans and manages the purchasing functions of the Unit staff to ensure timely and efficient processing of purchasing documents and payments for the Center. This includes ensuring and enforcing compliance with program policy, procedures, and contract regulations.  Responsible for the day-to-day administrative and financial operations of the Unit.

The incumbent works under the general direction of the Supervisor II, Contracts & Purchasing Section Supervisor.
