Social Media Content Creator Intern

Position Overview

International IT Solutions is seeking a Social Media Director Intern to support the organization and clients by assisting with creating, posting, and managing content for International IT Solution’s Social Media Accounts. The intern will gain hands-on experience in content creation, community engagement, and tracking trends in IT. They will also be given the opportunity to expand their portfolio with real projects for future employment.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop overarching social media and communication strategies that align with broader business goals.
  • Plan and produce text, video, and visual content, and maintain an editorial calendar.
  • Shoot, record, and edit daily photo, video, and text content
  • Monitor mentions, answer direct messages, and respond to comments to foster brand loyalty.
  • Track key performance indicators (e.g., reach, engagement rates, click-throughs) to pivot strategies
  • Maintain a consistent multi-platform editorial and posting calendar.
  • Research viral trends, audio tracks, and meme formats to adapt them to the brand's niche.
  • Work fast and adjust to shifting trends in real-time.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Degree seeking or current graduate in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), and Meta Business Suite.
  • Basic familiarity with social management and analytics platforms 
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills using tools and software
  • Ability to work in a remote environment while meeting deadlines
  • Strong visual storytelling and copywriting skills to write catchy hooks and engaging captions.
