Bilingual Insurance Customer Service & Sales Representative

Full-Time | In-Office | $25–$30/hour + Commission and Bonuses | Approximately $80K On-Target Earnings

ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary focus of this position is supporting existing clients, assisting with policy needs, and building long-term customer relationships. You will also follow up with agency leads and referrals, prepare quotes, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.

This is a base-pay position with additional commission and performance bonuses—not a commission-only opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to client questions by phone, email, and in person.
• Assist with policy changes, renewals, billing, payments, and insurance documents.
• Explain coverage options, deductibles, and agency procedures clearly.
• Follow up with agency leads, referrals, pending quotes, and renewal opportunities.
• Prepare quotes and assist with applications and policy updates.
• Identify coverage gaps and appropriate cross-selling opportunities.
• Support client retention and work toward customer service and sales goals.
• Maintain accurate client records and protect confidential information.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Fluent in English and either Mandarin Chinese or Spanish.
• Strong customer service, communication, active listening, and follow-up skills.
• Friendly, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable discussing insurance products and working toward service and sales goals.
• Able to manage multiple clients and leads while using email, Microsoft Office, and CRM software.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or a degree is welcomed but not required.
• Insurance, customer service, sales, banking, or financial services experience preferred.
• California Property & Casualty insurance license preferred but not required to apply.
• Must obtain the required California insurance license before the start date.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and available to work full-time in person at our Fremont office.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Guaranteed base pay of $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience.
• Commission and performance bonuses.
• Approximately $80,000 in on-target annual compensation for employees who meet established service and sales goals. Actual earnings may vary based on performance.
