Time commitment: Approximately up to 10 hours per week. 

FSM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on improving financial and business literacy in underserved and disadvantaged communities. As we continue to grow our programs, partnerships, events, and community outreach, we are currently looking to bring on volunteers. 

This opportunity will provide volunteers with hands-on experience supporting a growing nonprofit organization while contributing to FSM’s mission of expanding access to financial and business education.

The Media & Event Volunteer will primarily assist FSM with basic photography and videography, particularly during our workshops, speaking engagements, fundraisers, networking events, and other community programs. 

Responsibilities may include: 

Attending selected FSM events and programs 

Capturing photos and video footage 

Assisting with basic event setup and execution 

Organizing photos and video footage following events 

Helping with basic media-related tasks before and after events 

Providing occasional general event assistance 

We are not necessarily looking for a professional photographer or videographer. Someone with basic experience, creativity, reliability, and an interest in developing their media skills could be a great fit.
