Are you a college student looking for meaningful, flexible work while gaining real-world experience?
Boundless Care Inc. is excited to welcome college students to our Student Caregiver Pathway, a paid employment opportunity designed for students interested in healthcare, nursing, psychology, child development, education, public health, social work, and related fields.
Whether you're looking to work during summer break, winter and spring breaks, or a few days during the semester, this program allows you to gain valuable hands-on experience while balancing your academic commitments.
No extensive professional caregiving experience? That's okay! We welcome students who are compassionate, responsible, eager to learn, and passionate about helping others.
Choose Your Caregiving Track
Depending on your interests, experience, and qualifications, you may work in one or both of the following areas.
Childcare Track – Babysitting & Child Supervision
Help families by providing safe, attentive, and engaging care for children of different ages.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supervising children and ensuring their safety and well-being
- Organizing age-appropriate activities, games, reading, and creative play
- Assisting with daily routines, meals, homework, and bedtime
- Encouraging positive interactions and developmental activities
- Maintaining clean and organized child-related areas
- Communicating professionally with parents and following family instructions
Senior Support Track – Non-Medical Caregiving & Companionship
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults by providing compassionate companionship and assistance with everyday activities.
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Assisting with daily routines and non-medical personal care as appropriate
- Helping with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Supporting safe mobility and fall-prevention practices
- Accompanying clients on walks, errands, or appointments when authorized
- Following individualized care plans and communicating with families
Additional Senior Care Opportunities
In addition to our regular caregiving assignments, students participating in the Senior Support Track may have opportunities to provide shift coverage for Boundless Care Inc.'s private-pay senior care clients.
These assignments may include occasional, short-term, or recurring coverage depending on client needs, qualifications, and caregiver availability.
This is a great opportunity to expand your hands-on caregiving experience, build relationships with clients, and take on additional paid shifts that fit your schedule.
All caregiving responsibilities are non-medical and must remain within the caregiver's training, qualifications, and authorized scope of work.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for dependable, compassionate students who genuinely enjoy helping others and are committed to providing quality care.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Currently enrolled in a college or university
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Patient, compassionate, and willing to learn
- Able to follow care instructions and maintain professional boundaries
- Comfortable using a mobile app to view and manage assignments
- Previous caregiving, babysitting, volunteer, or family care experience is a plus, but not required
Required Before Starting Assignments
- TrustLine registration and/or Home Care Aide registration, depending on assignment type
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- TB screening or clearance as required
- Successful completion of applicable background screening and onboarding requirements
