$111,461.00 - $149,382.00 annually + excellent benefits

 

The City of Elk Grove is seeking an Operations Manager to lead its Landscaping and Facilities Division in the Public Works Department. In this newly created role, you will oversee the maintenance of City facilities—including District 56 and Old Town Plaza—as well as roadway landscaping, trails, open spaces, and urban forestry.

 

We are looking for a candidate who:

 

Leads with Excellence: Demonstrates strong leadership and team management skills in a municipal or public works environment.

 

Balances Strategy and Operations: Combines day-to-day operational oversight with long-term strategic planning and budgeting.

 

Possesses Technical Expertise: Has hands-on experience in facilities maintenance and sustainable landscaping practices.

 

Communicates Effectively: Engages confidently with City officials, staff, and community stakeholders.

 

Champions Public Service: Is dedicated to environmental stewardship and enhancing Elk Grove’s public spaces.
