Ecotron is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The position is based in the vibrant Los Angeles area, California. Commencing as an internship, this role offers the potential to evolve into a permanent, full-time position contingent upon a comprehensive performance assessment.

Requirements:

 

  1. The ideal candidate should hold an engineering degree, with a preference for those specializing in Electrical Engineering, and a background in the automotive industry would be advantageous.
  2. An interest in managerial responsibilities is a must, as the primary focus of this role involves project management. The company is committed to providing training to guide the candidate towards a long-term role as a project manager.
  3. Demonstrated initiatives and a sense of ownership over assignments are key attributes sought in the candidate.
  4. We are seeking an individual who is a fast learner, self-motivated, self-sufficient, and adept at multitasking.
  5. Additional proficiency in engineering encompassing electronics, embedded systems, and micro-controllers is considered an asset.
  6. Knowledge of the automotive and electronics industries is a plus.
  7. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English at a native or business professional level. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written at a native or business professional level, is a plus. 
  8. The candidate should be open to working on a flexible schedule, showcasing adaptability and dedication to meeting project deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Overseeing both internal and external projects, ensuring timely delivery across all facets, including engineering, business development, production, purchasing, and administration.
  2. Providing technical support for customer projects, guiding and coordinating the engineering team to deliver timely and effective solutions.
  3. Spearheading business development and sales efforts for potential projects by actively staying informed about industry trends, monitoring business potential, engaging with customers on prospective projects, and strategizing on how to secure project commitments.
  4. Constantly enhancing knowledge in areas such as automotive electronics, autonomous driving, embedded systems, and software development.
  5. Taking charge of internal teams across various departments to address and resolve customer issues throughout the project lifecycle. 
  6. Actively participating in weekly team meetings and compiling comprehensive weekly reports on project progress and related work.
