The Opportunity

As an Analyst/Associate (New Accounts) you will play a crucial role in fulfilling new account administration initiated by clients and advisors. Your primary goal will be to deepen the trust our clients place in our firm. You will act as a liaison between our external clients and internal investment professionals, ensuring accurate oversight of the account implementation process.

 

Principal Duties and Essential Functions

  • Documentation: Accurately document all aspects of the new account opening process, including pre-filling custodial paperwork and investment management agreements, confirming the completion of client documents, and reviewing account setups for accuracy
  • Innovative Solutions: Take the initiative to find creative solutions for resolving account matters and handling sensitive client interactions
  • Process Development: Collaborate with the team to develop, document, and maintain firm processes and procedures
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams within the firm, including management, to resolve client requests and issues, providing support as needed
  • Client Meetings: Participate in client meetings as an operational expert when required
  • Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative duties such as answering phones, directing calls, and other tasks as needed

 

Requirements/Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution
  • 1-4 years of experience in client service, preferably within the financial services industry
  • A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills
  • The ability to take direction from multiple parties, work independently, balance multiple deadlines, and remain organized
  • A mature, innovative, self-starter attitude with a strong desire to take ownership of responsibilities and see tasks through to completion
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a “client first” mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with CRM systems, Appian, and Archer is preferred
  • A working knowledge of operations and client service is a plus
