Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for data entry, communications with clients, payroll and bookkeeping services, and income tax preparation. You will report to a team of experienced professionals which will provide exposure to develop your potential for career growth. To excel, you must be adaptable, resilient, open to evolving alongside our industry, and committed to leveraging modern tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Your willingness to learn ang grow will be paramount in delivering exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members are essential. Given the nature of our industry, where workload fluctuates significantly, particularly around tax deadlines, we require individuals who are willing to adapt and support the team during peak periods. Your ability to ebb and flow with the workload, while maintaining a high standard of work, will be instrumental in our collective success.

Minimum Requirements

· High School diploma or GED with working knowledge of Accounting Principles

· Effective time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines

· Adaptability to adhere to firm procedures and accommodate process adjustments

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Proficient data entry skills with accuracy and attention to detail

· Demonstrates sound judgment and thoughtful decision-making

· Consistently maintains a work schedule aligned with firm priorities

· Displays enthusiasm for both independent work and collaboration within a team, with a proactive approach to learning and task ownership

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

· Exemplifies attention to detail, flexibility, and organizational skills

· Comfortable with a dynamic work environment

Preferred Qualifications

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounting office or educational setting (AA degree or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred)

· Proficiency in general ledger functions

· Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts

· Familiarity with QuickBooks, CCH Axcess software, and/or SafeSend Suite

· Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and Advanced Formulas

· Understanding of eCommerce practices

· Previous experience in client services, maintaining a high level of professionalism
