About the Role:
- To ensure the accurate and timely matching of buy and sell orders for options contracts. This involves verifying the details of each trade, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations, and reconciling discrepancies. Additional duties may include interacting with trading platforms, recording transactions, and preparing reports and communicating with traders and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Verify Trade Details: Accurately record and verify all aspects of options trades, including quantity, price, expiration date, and underlying asset.
- Order Matching: Ensure that buy and sell orders are accurately matched based on pre-determined rules and trading platform functionality.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all trades, including position reconciliation and daily reporting.
- Reconcile Discrepancies: Identify and resolve any discrepancies between orders, trades, and accounting records.
- Communication: Interact with traders, brokers, and other relevant parties to clarify orders, resolve issues, and provide support.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and documentation related to options trades, including daily activity and position summaries
- Customer Support: Providing customer support related to options trades, answering inquiries, and assisting with resolving any issues
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
- Basic understanding of securities markets and financial instruments. (Preferred)
- Adaptable and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
