Community Outreach Assistant- Entry Level

Invictus Inc is a fast-growing organization dedicated to raising awareness for our 501(c)(3) nonprofit clients across the Bay Area. We use face-to-face event marketing to build strong community connections, increase public engagement, and drive support for critical social causes.

This entry-level role is perfect for someone passionate about community engagement, social impact, and gaining hands-on experience in outreach and nonprofit marketing.

Position Overview

As a Community Outreach Assistant, you will support our outreach efforts by representing our clients at community events, assisting with campaign execution, and fostering meaningful relationships within local neighborhoods. You’ll work closely with our team to help maximize exposure and impact for organizations driving positive change.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Pleasanton, CA. Candidates must be located in the Bay Area and willing to commute to our office and event locations across the region. It’s an excellent opportunity for recent graduates interested in nonprofit work and hands-on outreach experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in representing Invictus Inc and our nonprofit clients at face-to-face community events
• Engage with local community members to share client missions and encourage support
• Help set up, coordinate, and manage outreach events and promotional activities
• Collect and report community feedback to improve outreach efforts
• Support internal teams with data entry, event logistics, and outreach campaign follow-up
• Maintain accurate records of community interactions and engagement metrics
• Learn and apply best practices in community outreach and nonprofit marketing

Qualifications

• Passionate about social causes and community involvement
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, approachable, and comfortable engaging with diverse groups in person
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and multitasking abilities
• Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in customer service, marketing, or volunteer work is a plus but not required
